• Use blogger to create a class portfolio for each primary class, will be controlled by me
• Each student will have their own page using the labels feature
• Create QR codes to go with each portfolio, print, have students decorate and display in the classroom
• Have HS students create gmail accounts, and walk them through creating portfolio and keeping up with it, also create QR codes for display
• Portfolios can be used in IEP meetings

Class Dojo

• Class Dojo will be used for all classes K-12. Badges will be given on edmodo to correspond with points on class Dojo.

• Timer can be used for primary, every 15 minutes, reward point for deserved students
• Random can be used to call on various students and reward participation points as necessary
• Use reports for IEP meetings and for parent communication
• Can use ipad to reward points from various places in the room instead of passing out high 5
• can leave comments on points to provide more detailed information

Edmodo

I just recently went to a technology convention, and I need a place to organize all of my new ideas for my computer lab so that I don't forget them!

I wanted to start with Edmodo first since I've already implemented this into my lab, but I would like to do more with it.

• All warm ups and exit tickets will be created as notes
• Long-term assignments will be uploaded to Edmodo and will need to be submitted to me in order to get graded
• Calendar will be used for due dates (like homework, for example), and school happenings
• Folders will be used to share useful links with the students, important files, and general class information for the lab and each class
• Groups can be created within the class for "chatrooms" so that the page doesn't get junked up by comments (example that I saw on http://keystrokes.wonecks.net was that the students watched brainpop videos on digital etiquette and had a chat with each other during the movies to reflect on the topics being discussed in the movies
• Will use badges as a reward system, create badges to go with Class Dojo, typing speeds, various "Badge of the Day" badges with cool "collectable" badges
• Get to know App feature and provide useful apps to the students
